Studio Artists
It was an emotional day, 15th October 2019, when we watched our container studios departing for off-site storage, to make room for the new East Quay development. For six years they served faithfully as workplaces, supporting six, long-term tenant artists, 3 emerging artist residencies/ bursaries as well as a number of short-term projects, installations and workshops. The containers will return, spruced up, to form part of the studio provision on East Quay. There will be 12 studio spaces altogether, in the main building and the containers, of differing dimensions.
